Michigan (The Great Lakes State/The Wolverine State/The Mitten State):

Michigan in north is a state with a lot of great sports and nature. "Motor City" Detroit is the biggest city and Lansing is the capital in the state. In Detroit you have the biggest car industry in the USA with General Motors as the biggest Company, but recently have the city of Detroit struggled with economics, crime and powerty. College sports are very big in Michigan, and in Detroit you also have all the major league sports, NHL Detroit Red Wings, NFL Detroit Lions, NBA Detroit Pistons and MLB Detroit Tigers.
