North Carolina (Tar Heel State/Old North State):

This state is one of the north state of the southern states and has an amazing coastline. North in the state it`s great mountains and foothills, especially in the Appalachian mountain. The coast is very popular for tourist but also for fellow Americans that want to spend the summer at the coast. Raleigh is the capital and Charlotte the biggest city. North Carolina is well known for its great College basketball teams, but also for great National sport teams in every section, NHL Hurricanes, NBA Bobcats and NFL Panthers.
